Forward Corporation is proud to announce that $8,900 was raised as part of Shell’s Giving Pump Program. $8,100 was raised for Make-A-Wish® Michigan and $800 for the Arenac Community Center.
“Make-A-Wish® Michigan is grateful to our corporate friends like Forward Corporation for helping to grant wishes to Michigan children,” said Michael Hull, the President & CEO of Make a Wish Michigan. “Being selected as a beneficiary from The Giving Pump program allows more transformational wishes to come true for local children battling critical illnesses."
One pump at 23 Forward Shell convenience stores were designated as the “Giving Pump” where 1¢ of the proceeds were donated to Make-A-Wish Michigan for every gallon of fuel pumped at that dispenser from August 1 through October 30. The proceeds from the Arenac County Shell locations were donated to the Arenac Community Center.
“We are proud to support the community center through Shell’s Giving Pump program to help raise money for such a deserving cause,” Forward Corporation President Abby Moniz said. “The community center is a wonderful resource for children and families in this area.”
Earlier this year Forward Corporation donated over $25,000 to Make-A-Wish Michigan through Forward’s 36 th Annual Golf Outing at the Dream Golf Course in West Branch on August 29 th .

The Arenac Community Center opened in 2019 thanks to the efforts of local citizens who saw a need for more community programs and facilities.
