Forward Corp. Subways recently donated gift cards to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Great Lakes Bay Region in support of its Members of the Month honorees and other initiatives.
During a typical year, the organization will hold an annual dinner to recognize members and celebrate with their friends and family. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions and safety protocols, the usual dinner did not take place, so Forward Corp. provided $1,000 in Subway gift cards.
“Thank you to Forward Corp. Subways for donating the gift cards,” said Jen Carpenter, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Great Lakes Bay Region. “We were unable to hold a traditional event this year and their donation let members know our communities are proud and supportive of their accomplishments.”
Some of the cards have been distributed to members already while others will be used for upcoming initiatives in the coming weeks.
“We are proud to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Great Lakes Bay Region,” said Andrew Brown, district manager for Forward Corp.’s Food Service division. “They provide an incredible service to the youth in our community and we are happy to assist in whatever way we can.”
Forward Corp. is the largest Subway franchisee in the state, operating over 50 stores including 10 in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
