March 17, 2020

To all Forward employees,

I want to offer updates on the Coronavirus situation. Though not much has changed since yesterday, it’s important we communicate frequently regarding measures we are taking to address this ever-evolving situation.

• Our Subway locations have complied with the Governor’s order for food service locations to be take-out, drive-thru, and/or delivery only. As expected, we’ve seen a dip in business, though most locations are holding their own. To create efficiencies in operations, effective tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18, we are adjusting hours of operation for most Subway locations to 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily. The exceptions to this are our two hospital locations and our Great Lakes Crossing location. The hospital locations will continue with current hours of operation to serve the hospital community, while we will be temporarily closing our Great Lakes Crossing location due to low foot traffic.

• The LumberJack restaurant in West Branch is closed. Right now, the earliest the site can reopen is Tuesday, March 31 and we are hopeful we are able to do so at that time.

• We are also awaiting details on a proposed economic stimulus package the President announced this afternoon. It appears likely this stimulus will put money directly into the pockets of most Americans and will be a much needed boost to families impacted by the pandemic.

We will continue to monitor all aspects of our business and will communicate changes or updates as they become available. In the meantime, I want to thank each of you for your commitment to Forward. I know these are uncertain times, but we will do everything in our power to navigate through them successfully.

Sincerely,

Abby Moniz
President, Forward Corp.
